作者簡介：顧城。1956—1993，男，中國朦朧詩派重要代表，被稱為當代的“唯靈浪漫主義”詩人。代表作《一代人》、《英兒》、《白晝的月亮》等。
顧城在新詩、舊體詩和寓言故事詩上都有很高的造詣，其《一代人》中的一句“黑夜給了我黑色的眼睛/我卻用它尋找光明”成為中國新詩的經典名句。

窗外的夏天

Through the deep night， a voice cries on and on
那個聲音在深夜裡哭了好久
when the sun rises
太陽昇起來
the drops of rain sparkle briefly
所有雨滴都閃耀一下
then transform into steam
變成了溫暖的水氣
but I do not go to wipe off the glass
我沒有去擦玻璃
I know that the sky is blue
我知道天很藍
and every tree raises its hair in its hands
每棵樹都齜著頭髮
in that sound of snapping castanets
在那“嘎嘎”地錯著響板
would be a big black beetle in search of food
都想成為一隻巨大的捕食性昆蟲
Everything is so distant
一切多麼遠了
I was once as weak as a morning cicada
我們曾像早晨的蟬一樣軟弱
wings soaked through
翅膀是溼的
and leaves thick， we were young
葉片是厚厚的，我們年輕
knew nothing

all we knew was that the dreams might float up
