郎窯紅亦稱之為寶不紅，是一種釉層流動，釉下可見大片開片紋，釉色極為鮮豔的一種銅紅釉。銅紅釉始於元代，至大明永、宣朝均為銅紅釉器。康熙朝江西巡撫郎廷極在景德鎮御窯督造，故名郎窯紅。從元代至明代及至清代所造銅紅釉器成品率極低，約200件中能有一件合格品，不合格者盡皆砸碎。

此器郎窯紅玉壺春瓶，是傳統玉壺春瓶造型，整器呈牛血紅色，燈草口，窯變漸顯墨紅色，近足處釉色邊緣清晰無積釉粘釉，“郎不流”特點明顯具足，此瓶器型端正古樸，髮色純正。器底施滿釉，有細碎開片。“若想窮，燒朗紅”“朗紅”成器難，成本極高，非官家而不為，屬稀有品種，藝術、經濟價值極高。
