福音電影《奇蹟的突破》由20世紀福克斯在2019年出品發行。改編自一段真實的見證，講述的是美國14歲的少年約翰不慎跌入冰窟長達15分鐘陷入昏迷，在宣佈死亡1個小時後，他的媽媽衝進急救室進行禱告，堅定呼求上帝的拯救，最終全身冰冷的兒子起死回生的故事。
另外，NBA球星庫裡擔任此片的執行製片人，他表示電影中信仰的故事深深吸引他。電影《突破》也像是一個提醒，告訴我們有信，有望，有愛，就會有奇蹟！
電影真實原型的約翰·史密斯
約翰·史密斯是這個奇蹟生還故事的主人公，
他說透過這個故事自己感受到上帝的大能，
並且渴望能夠在將來成為一名牧師。
史密斯在接受採訪時說：
“我很高興看到《突破》
這部電影將會如何去改變世界，
我的任務是
分享上帝仍然在做'不可能'之事，
他仍在行神蹟。”
儘管他在經歷這些時並不相信耶穌，
但這個經歷改變了
他內心深處的某些東西，
使他重新評估自己生命的軌跡。
