我們都知道“sold”是“sell”的過去式及過去分詞。“sell”有“賣；售賣”的意思。但是外國人說“I‘m sold”是啥意思？難道是“我被賣了”？
實際上“I’m sold”的英文釋義是：
When you are convinced of/by something。
也就是說，“I‘m sold”的中文意思其實是“我被說服了”。
為什麼會這樣呢？因為“sell”除了常見的“賣；售賣”之外，還有一個意思是“說服；使接受”。在日常的口語表達中也很常見。
