2022 IEEE fellow 重磅出爐:王海峰、山世光、童行行等31位中國計算機科學家入選

剛剛,2022 年國際電氣和電子工程師協會(IEEE)新增會士(Fellow)完整名單公佈。

新增名單中共有 265 位學者入選,其中中國學者有 31 位。

AI 領域的多位知名華人學者入選,包括汪玉、鄭冶楓、李飛飛、山世光、申恆濤、童行行、王海峰、謝幸、楊睿剛、王井東、趙國英、韓軍偉、Shih-chii Liu、Guojun Qi、田永鴻、李青、曹明、王冬梅、馮俊蘭等。

對比來看,2020 年共有 282 位學者入選,其中華人學者超過 70 人,2019 年和 2020 年為 90 餘人和 80 餘人。

IEEE全稱,美國電子電氣工程師學會(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers),是國際性的電子技術與資訊科學工程師的學會,於 1963 年 1 月 1 日開設。其推出的 IEEE Fellow(IEEE會士)為學會最高等級會員,也是 IEEE 授予成員的最高榮譽,每年由 IEEE 同行專家在擁有高階(senior)或終身(life)等級的會員中評選,當選人需要對工程科學技術的進步或應用做出重大貢獻,為社會帶來重大價值。

由於每年當選的 IEEE Fellow 數量較少,因此當選的科學家基本都是在科學與工程技術領域內取得重要成就的傑出科學家。因此,該頭銜也是學術界和科技界公認的權威榮譽和重要職業成就。近年來,華人科學家逐漸成為 IEEE Fellow 中的主力人群之一。
