《安娜貝爾·麗》
美國作家、詩人埃德加·愛倫·坡創作的一首悼念早逝愛人的輓歌。
此詩展現在讀者眼前的是蒼白的月亮、淒涼的夜色和蕭蕭的寒風，古老的王國和海邊的一丘孤墳，以及一對青梅竹馬的戀人間愛情的破碎。

埃德加·愛倫·坡（Edgar Allan Poe）
（1809～1849），19世紀美國詩人、小說家和文學評論家，美國浪漫主義思潮時期的重要成員。
埃德加·愛倫·坡1809年1月19日生於馬薩諸塞州的波士頓，他年幼時父母雙亡，隨即被弗吉尼亞州的約翰和弗朗西絲斯·愛倫夫婦收養，在弗吉尼亞大學就讀了短暫的一段時間後輟學，之後從軍，愛倫·坡離開了愛倫夫婦。愛倫坡低調地開始了他的寫作生涯，匿名出版了詩集《帖木爾和其它的詩》。
1835年他在巴爾的摩和13歲的表妹弗吉尼亞·克萊姆結婚。
1838年《阿瑟·戈登·皮姆的故事》出版並被受到了廣泛的關注。1839年夏天，愛倫·坡成為《伯頓紳士雜誌》（Burton‘s Gentleman’s Magazine）的助理編輯。這期間他發表了的隨筆、小說，和評論，加強了他在《南方文學信使》工作時期開始確立的敏銳批評家的聲譽，同期，《怪異故事集》上下卷在1839年出版。1845年1月，愛倫·坡發表詩歌“烏鴉”，一時聲譽鵲起。
1849年10月7日逝於巴爾的摩。
