《Stand by me》（伴我同行）是一首耳熟能詳的經典英文老歌，由黑人靈歌歌手Ben E。 King（本傑明·厄爾·尼爾森）與作詞家Jerry Leiber、作曲家Mike Stoller共同創作。這首歌頌親情愛情的歌曲是他最知名的作品，收錄於1960年專輯《Don‘t Play That Song！》
《Stand by me》其實是根據另外一位著名的黑人靈歌歌手Sam Cooke一首充滿宗教色彩的歌曲《Lord StandBy Me》加以改編而重新創作的。
Ben E。 King（1938年9月28日—2015年4月30日），出生於美國北卡羅來納州亨德森市，9歲的時候搬到了紐約的Harlem。美國靈魂樂及節奏藍調流行樂歌手，是後搖滾樂黑人音樂時期最佳民歌手之一。
1986年，電影《伴我同行》採用了Ben E。 King這首舊作當作同名的主題歌，使得他再度的受到了注意 ，還因而奪下了英國排行的冠軍。而根據BMI的統計，還是全美20世紀最受歡迎百大歌曲的第四名。
而無論任何時候任何地點，每次當你聽到這首歌，都會被它熟悉的旋律打動。“Oh~ darlin’ darlin‘”的副歌部分，總能進入耳裡直達心底。
